So... Dianne & I had Miata friends George & Nancy over for a Saturday evening of playing cards. Dianne decided on a chocolate fondue for dessert, but wondered what to pour the chocolate into... I immediatly hit on the idea of "carving" out a pound cake, which would not only hold the chocolate, but provide insulation to keep it warm.
It was a great idea (if I may say so myself), and photo one shows how it should be. While carving one of the cakes though, I "cracked" one side wall and it would have leaked chocolate. Photo two shows a quick fix (actually, I think George or Nancy brought up the duct tape...)
