On March 23, 2002 I held a joint MG Club and Miata Club trip to the Wood Speed Boat Show in Mt. Dora, Florida. Aside from the many beautiful wooden boats, there was the largest gathering of 1960s Amphibicars (14 attended) in recent memory and some beautiful old cars. There was a big collection of "woodies" and some other rare examples (a 1955 Gull-wing Mercedes in the flesh).

A great day (a little cool starting out), I took the MG and lead the pack cross country. We had an unexpected treat visiting a German Bakery on the way up, discovering a music festival the Bakery organizes (every Saturday?).
