Drive Through History 2000

On May 18th through May 22 the Tietzes and Alonsos of the Florida Suncoast MG Car Club traveled to meet
the English Motoring Club of Mississippi and join their 3rd annual "Drive Through History" in Natchez
through Vicksburg. On Friday, Terry & Merideth Trovato entertained us with a tour of some Natchez
plantations and dinner on the river.

Saturday we went on the tour (good driving!), Sunday we traveled to Callaway Gardens in Georgia, and met up
with fellow club members Bert & Bruce Rauch. We came back on Monday after visiting Warm Springs, GA.

We traveled over 1800 miles, endured LOTS of rain, but had some great top-down times too. I want to thank
Terry and Merideth for the graciousness, John Simmers for again devising a GREAT tour, and all the members
of the English Motoring Club for allowing us to join them and making us feel at home.
